Vail 'Hub' Hubner is hosting a gathering of sappers from the Bay of Plenty for a few drinks and perhaps a meal later about 1900hrs. EVENT CANCELLED The Mt Maunganui RSA is temporary closed until 1100hrs 5 Jan due to becoming a Covid place of interest. Our Xmas / New Year local gathering. Drinks at 1800hrs & dinner at 1900hrs for those that want it. Confirming the date displayed months ago in member's login Northern Branch / Bay Of Plenty page paragraph 21(a) which shows future Local Gatherings. Each of us will need to present our double vaccination certificate to gain entry into the club. Consider using the Number 5 Bus to & from the venue to avoid drink driving. There is a bus stop outside the RSA. It's free if you show your Gold Card. Or about $4 otherwise. Last bus to Tauranga is 2035hrs. It is with regret we hear of Bill 'Willy' MacNaughtan passing. He died peacefully in his sleep 23 Nov, aged 88. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at the venue and time shown. Due to current restrictions, it will be attended by close family and friends. It will be live streamed.
